Introduction
“Shri
Ramkrishna Vivekananda Sewasram” is an civil society with values and purity
inspired by great man of India Swami Ramkrishna and Swami Vivekananda. We work
on the theme of Vivekananda “Nar Sewa, Narayan Sewa” which means that “to serve
human is to serve god”. We have our
Aashram (our field office) in a village Porki of Amarkantak. Here we have our
tribal girls’ school and medical clinic. In nearby villages we have a strong
social networking and perform different social and welfare activities.
Visit
once our field and we are sure you will always remember our work.
Our core
values: Swami Ji’s Vision on India
Swami Vivekanand had
a vision on INDIA as a land of educated men practising improved methods of
agriculture and various rural trades firmly rooted in spiritual values. He
dreamt of India to occupy the foremost position in the committee of nations
acquiring high technical skills and regarding its spiritual he values. At present our country is passing over very
bad days, most people have no love for their country and the people only they
love themselves. That has increased corruption, injustice and many other evils.
All these maladies can be remedied by swami vivekananda’s teachings intend our
people to built a new INDIA on the vedantic truth or one divine in the heart of
all, the service of that divine irrespective of cast creed or sex, two of his
saying can re-educate our people to a value oriented LIFE, the first is the
National idea of INDIA are renunciation and service, intensify her in these
channel and the rest will take care of itself and the second one is, they alone
live who live for others, the rest are more dead than alive.
All the present
juncture, however, the glamour of fast light, fast fame and firmer etc. has
eclipsed our vision of dedication, honesty and patriotism and above all the
values. INDIA has stood for last 3000 years and now ten decades after Swami
Vivekananda everyone feels his guidance are more relevant to-day. Than ever
before
Work Unto
Death: I am with you and when I
am gone, My sprit will work with you. This life comes and goes- wealth, fame,
enjoyment are only for a few days. It is better, far better, to die on the
field of duty, preaching the truth, than to die like a worldly creature. Advance
(Swami Vivekanand)
The
Ramkrishna Movement
Today RAMKRISHNA MOVEMENT has become a great
power for peace and happiness in this country as well as abroad. In India where
different religious sects and communicative live, the idea of tolerance and
brotherly feelings towards each other ahs great relevance. Another factor which
contributes much to its popularity is the rational approach it brings to bear
upon every problems of life.
People who are influenced by RAMAKRISHNA
believe religion to be kind of Science open to study and investigation, they do
not believe that religious trusts have to be accepted in trust, they rather
declare that nothing need be accepted as final unless it has been tested and
found true.
The fact that the movement lays great stress
on selfless service as a means of God realisation also attracts many people.
Rusking once said “An idea is more powerful
that an Army;” There must be must be much truth in this else it is difficult to
explain the influence RAMAKRISHNA and its followers bearings his name have had
over people all over world. The strength of the RAMAKRISHNA MOVEMENT is not
money, meant or organisation but in the ideas it tries to present.
Let us Join this movement for a better
peaceful world.

INSPIRATION,
HISTORY AND OUR ACTIVITIES
Source of Inspiration
In India sustained and systematic welfare
activities have to have their roots in some great and divine personality; Such
work also requires perennial inspiration from a robust philosophy. Our Tribal
welfare Service have their genesis in a draw sustenance from the life and
message of Bhagavan Shri Ramakrishna.
TRIBAL
WELFARE: OBJECTIVES
India languages use the world ‘Adivasis’ or Tribal.
It literally means. “The original or native inhabitants of a country” Swamiji
found that these Tribal of India “were and the Aryas in Novitiate”
In cultural anthropology, Tribal are those
small groups of people which are have a shared language culture and ideology
members of a Tribal normally live in contiguous tempter and work together in
such joint endeavours as trade agriculture, house-construction, ceremonial
activities etc. Some modern tribal welfare should have the following objects in
view:-
1) To preserve, strengthen and develop all that
is best in Tribal Society, culture, art and language: The Tribal folk will be
of the greatest service to India if they are able to bring their unique to
become second-rate copies of the non-tribal. Their moral Virtues, simplicity,
self-reliance, courage, artistic talent and cheerfulness are much in need. Such
a cultural harmonization is all the more imperative today in the light of the
various disruptive forces operating in many of our Tribal bells.
Which
Tribal culture has to be preserved, the tribal have also to be made aware of
India’s rich culture and spiritual heritage and of their being entitled to have
a share in this legacy.
Swamiji
believed in Unity in Diversity in a pluralistic society, this has to be kept in
view when we attempt to bring about a harmonization of cultures we should also
remember that no community in the world can live in isolation today and our tribal
cannot be an exception to this world phenomenon. Not our tribal cannot be and
exception to this world-phenomenon. Not only has there to be interaction and
harmony between tribal and non-tribal but also between one tribe and another. These
done Tribal will contribute to India’st progress of their own accord.
2) To provide educational facilities that will
enable the Tribal folk to view life in a broader perspective and which will
make them self-reliant. Swamiji considered education to be the only solution to
all our national ills. But according Swamiji “Education is not the amount of
information that is put into your brain and runs not there, undigested, all
your life. We must have life-building, man-making, character-making
assimilation of ideas”. Swamiji emphasized character because it is only
strength of character that peas the way for practical wisdom. With this end in
view self-reliance “one must raise oneself by one’s own exertions.” This
applies in all spheres says Swamiji and he has also warned us” all the wealth
of the world cannot help one little Indian village of the people are not taught
to help themselves.
3) The bring within the reach of every Tribal
the fourfold goal of human life, the four purusharthas as conceived by the
Indian Rishis of your which have governed social life in India’s from time
immemorial Dharma, Artha, Kama.
Moksha-(Virtue
of duty, wealth, legitimate enjoyment, liberation which constitute as a citizen
as a citizen of India)
This
is the solution Swamiji has recommended to remedy the alienation of the Tribal
that various historical factors have brought about more important, ant Swamiji
re-declaration of India’s ancient discovery-discovery-divinity of every
soul-has to be applied to the Tribal context as well; and our Tribal brothers
and sisters too should learn to understand and assimilate this unique India
heritage.
Swamiji
in his prophetic vision has devlated: “let new India arise our of the peasant’s
cottage grasping the plough, out of the huts of the fishermen. The cobbler and
the efficiency and earnestness with which the major society addresses itself to
tribal (and rural) welfare depends the re-emergence of a living, vibrant India.
A Humble Beginning
Our
formal attempt at Tribal welfare work begin in Therpathra foot hills of the

single handed night school night, schools for Adults, Rural Health-care and

Being
inspired the activities of the Swami Suddhatmanada, the collectors of Shahdol
